Blossoms and Bees

The weather has been nice and warm for the past few weeks and the apricot trees blossomed yesterday. Unfortunately, we are told that the temperatures will dip below freezing for the next few days. This will mean that again the trees will not bear fruit.
There are lots of apricot trees in the area but they seldom bear fruit because of freezing tempera-tures after the blossoms appear. It's either feast or famine with fruit trees here. When the trees do bear fruit, there is an abundance and you can't give it away.
